Miners go out in Region 5

An early lead would slip away for the Lady Miners on Monday, putting an end to their season in the first round of the Region 5 tournament.
Wilton-Wing would have the upper hand in the first quarter of Monday’s Region 5 action, taking an eight-point lead over their District 9 competitor, the Shiloh Christian Skyhawks.
The Skyhawks would whittle down that lead in the second quarter, tying up the game at 26-26 at half.
The Miners would slowly fall behind in the second half of the game as Shiloh forged ahead, finally taking a 14-point win and a spot in Tuesday’s semi-final game against Underwood.
