Northern Cass netters wins Class B State Championship
Northern Cass took home the championship title for the NDHSAA State Class B Volleyball Tournament.
The tournament ran from Nov. 16-18 at the Fargodome in Fargo.
During the championship game, Northern Cass went up against Mayville-Portland-CG winning three out of four matches scoring 25-23, 25-14, 21-25, 25-13.
The number 4 ranked Northern Cass first played Nov. 16 against number 5 ranked LaMoure-Litch-Mar, sweeping the team 3-0. The next day, they faced off against the number 1 seed Dickinson Trinity who also came into the quarterfinals with a 3-0 sweep against Shiloh Christian. However, Northern Cass did not slow down, sweeping Dickinson Trinity 3-0 in the semifinals.
