Post 12 offense explodes
Washburn Post 12 continued its strong summer campaign by picking up a pair of convincing district victories last week, defeating Post 144 by a 13-1 margin before following it with a 12-2 win over the Hazen Astros.
The two victories showcased Washburn’s balanced approach, combining explosive offensive production with steady pitching to improve its position in the district standings heading into the heart of the season.
Washburn opened the week Thursday, July 2, with a dominant performance on the road against Post 144.
