Kidder County drove down to play Post 12 on July 11.
The first inning started off with three outs in a row from Kidder County, quickly sending Post 12 to bat. A walk from Landre Sondrol would be the first on base for Post 12. After a strikeout, two single hits from Lyle Whitley and Reed Backman would load the bases. A pop fly from Tyler Kulzer would hit Sondrol and Whitley in, landing Backman at third and Kulzer at first. Another walk would load the bases again, but an attempted steal at home and an out at second would end the inning.
The second inning would be a strong one for Post 12, but Kidder County would get on the scoreboard. Two runs would be scored by Kidder County within three batters. The following three would be called out, but not before Kidder County would score again. Post 12 would come back with a vengeance, and the first three batters would load the bases. The next batter, Sondrol, would hit a line drive to left field, hitting in another run. The following batter, Trey Koski, would hit another in. The first out would follow before Backman would hit two batters in. Post 12 would score another run before the inning would end.
Post 12 would hold Kidder County to their three runs in the third inning, every out a caught pop fly. Kidder County would also hold Post 12 to their seven runs. Peyton Hall would get to first on a walk, but the following three batters would be called out at first.
