Southern McLean boys stack points across sprints, distance and field events

of its most balanced team performances of the season April 10 at the Trinity Small Meet, scoring across sprints, distance, relays and field events to finish sixth in the boys standings with 64 points.
The girls added six points, highlighted by strong sprinting and relay depth.
Boys: Kadrmas and Neumiller headline scoring surge Senior Beckett Kadrmas delivered another standout day on the track, placing second in the 200 meters in a personalbest 22.90 and adding a fourthplace finish in the 100 at 11.51.
He also anchored the 4x100 and 4x400 relays, both of which placed inside the top four.
Freshman Daniel Neumiller claimed Southern McLean’s lone event title of the meet, winning the 3200 meters in a personalbest 10:38.83, pulling away late to secure the victory.
Sophomore Hayden Clausen added points in both hurdle races, finishing fifth in the 110s and seventh in the 300s, while also contributing to the 4x100 and 4x400 relays.
The boys’ relay crews were steady all afternoon.
