Southern McLean has six athletes place in top 100 at State cross country

Out of 11 student athletes participating in the State cross country competition last week in Jamestown, more than half placed in the top 100.
Overall, the girl’s team placed 13th while the boy’s team placed 20th.
Leading the way was junior Kari Patterson, who placed 31st running 21:39.5. Two more girls rounded out the top 100 with eighth grader Erin Conoly placing 91st running 23:19.6 and junior Liza Telkaemper running just a few seconds behind her at 23:22.2 placed 94th.
Eighth grader Kesia Boeshans placed 115th running 23:55.1, while sophomore Aubrey Stainert placed 147th running 24:54.6
