Southern McLean rolls past Shiloh Christian
The Southern McLean Roughriders continued their strong start to the 2024 football season on Thursday, September 12, as they traveled to Bismarck to face Shiloh Christian and came away with a convincing 16-3 victory. The win kept Southern McLean unbeaten on the year, improving their overall record to 4-0 and their Region 4 mark to 3-0.
Head Coach Beau Eriksson said the victory reflected the steady growth and confidence his team has shown since the start of the season.
“It has been great to see our guys have an excellent start to the season,” Eriksson said. “It sets us up well with hopefully being able to clinch a playoff spot earlier in the season. But our guys are building confidence each week. The team is working hard each week to give themselves a chance to win.”
