Washburn 12U Softball Team earns Fourth at Tournament
Washburn’s 12U softball team wrapped up its season at the area end-of-the-year tournament held Thursday, July 9, at the Turtle Lake Softball Complex, finishing in fourth place.
During pool play, Washburn split its games by earning a win over Beulah while falling to Garrison. The results advanced the team into bracket play, where it faced Wilton. Although Washburn came up short in its final game, the fourthplace finish highlighted a season of growth and competitive play.
