By Michael Johnson, Editor

The Washburn Post 12 team has battled with rain for much of the spring and on Tuesday afternoon they were sitting through yet another rain delay while playing in Omaha, Nebraska. The Post 12 team had one game last week against Carrington at home and came away with two wins. The first game ended with a score of 8-1 and game two ended in similar fashion 9-1. In that first game Brendon Sweeney powered in 2-for-4, Danny Henke was 2-for-2, Zach Hruby 1-for-4 and Brett Schreiner was 1-for-3. The second game it only took five innings as Schreiner was 2-for-3, Evan Eberle was 1-for-3, Brendon Sweeney was 2-for-2 and Kirk Sailer went 1-for-2 in the win.
