Washburn boys play state ball

Two Washburn players are among the boys making up the Hazen Babe Ruth team that headed to state baseball last week. Noah Olson and Owen Patterson, Washburn students, played on this year’s Hazen Babe Ruth team after the Washburn season was called off. The boys and their teammates traveled to Kindred last week to take part in the state tournament in Kindred. The team took a 3-12 loss on Friday against Langdon and a second-day loss against Rugby, who won 11-5.
