Washburn Little League Team B battles through Tournament
Washburn’s Little League Team B showed resilience throughout the area Little League Tournament held Friday, July 17, in Turtle Lake, finishing sixth after battling through three games.
The team opened tournament play against Garrison Team A before falling into the consolation bracket. Washburn responded with a victory over Turtle Lake to keep its tournament alive before closing the day with a loss in its final contest, securing a sixth-place finish.
Despite the challenges of tournament play, the team demonstrated perseverance and continued to compete from start to finish while gaining valuable experience against area opponents.
