Washburn Post 12 rolls past Barons in 15-1 blowout
The Washburn Post 12 Legion Baseball team continued its early-season dominance with a commanding 15-1 road win over the Bismarck Barons 17U squad on Monday, June 9.
The offense erupted for 13 hits and seven runs in the seventh inning alone, while the pitching duo of Alex Retterath and Jonah Miller silenced the Barons’ bats from start to finish.
Washburn struck early and often, scoring in six of seven innings, including back-to-back runs in the first and second before adding two more in the third.
