Wilton-Wing splits road matches
The Wilton-Wing Miners volleyball team continued their competitive late-season push with a busy week on the road, splitting a pair of matches from October 7–9 that highlighted both their resilience and their ability to bounce back quickly.
The Miners opened the week in Garrison on October 7, where they battled through a tense five-set thriller before narrowly falling 3-2 to the Troopers.
Despite the loss, Wilton-Wing showed impressive balance across the lineup and strong serving in the early sets, pushing Garrison to the limit in what proved to be one of the most evenly matched contests of the season.
