2010 Sheridan County candidates for the Primary Election

2010 Sheridan County candidates for the Primary Election

The election will be held on June 8, 2010. Mailed ballots and on-site voting will be tabulated at that time. The polling place for all on-site voting, county and city, is the McClusky City Hall. The school district ballots may be cast in person at the Elementary School.
For County Auditor, Shirley A. Murray is the only announced candidate, as are for the following county offices: County Recorder, Joyce H. Dockter; County Treasurer, Janice D. Erdmann; States Attorney, Jerod Tufte; and County Sheriff, Trent Naser.
The Sheridan County Commission seats have competition: Commissioner Eldon J. Ehrman, 1st District and Commissioner Howard F. Erdmann, 3rd District, are seeking re-election. Timothy J. Strobel is on the ballot for 3rd District.
Richard Bentz has declared his candidacy for 1st District by way of write-in votes.
McClusky School District #19 has one rural director position open. Incumbent Phyllis Dieterle is the only declared candidate for that position.
McClusky City offices open are: For mayor (city council president), Theresa Jorgenson, incumbent; Ward 1, Mark Miller, incumbent; and Ward 2, Roberta Hunt, incumbent, are the declared candidates for the city council seats.
For City Park Board, there are three seats open.
Be sure to mark the box also by any candidate names that are write-ins for any office. Just writing the name will not make that person eligible to be counted for that office.
