Vietnam era Veterans honored
A pancake brunch, complete with savory sausage, brought out the town to help celebrate Veterans Day in Goodrich.
Local teachers recognized
The McClusky American Legion Auxiliary met at the Community Room on November 9 to prepare three trays of cookies which were later delivered to the elementary and high school staff rooms as well as a smaller tray to the office staff. The cookies were homemade by six local auxiliary members.
Eight winners enjoy pancakes and prizes
With lucky eight winners capturing $5 in McClusky Merchant Association gift certificates, they joined the others who chose their favorite pancake and syrup flavors at the McClusky Locals brunch on Sunday.

The special meeting called by McClusky City Council Mayor Roberta Hunt involved time to hear two issues, the first of which was the engineering plan developed by Moore Engineering, Inc. for sewer water and street improvements

First ever co-op homecoming spirit day held in Turtle Lake
Homecoming Friday, Spirit Day, started out with students getting their floats ready on the school grounds to join the parade that would showcase high school class spirit supporting their football team, the Cougars.
Cougars plead "Don't rain on our parade"
The homecoming parade was sprinkled upon, and then poured upon, without dampening the spirits of the hundreds of children and adults lining the street.
MHS Homecoming events
McClusky High School held its 2016 Homecoming Week Sept. 19-23. Coronation was on Monday afternoon. The candidates were Alex Naser, Skylar Simes, Connor Jerkovich, Tyler Jerkovich, Lane Rhoads, and Stefon Scheurer. Naser and Jerkovich were crowned queen and king.
