Hands in dirt, smiles on faces
The residents, under the guidance of Administrator Connie Werth, Sheridan Memorial Home’s own nurse Missy Axt, and the gardening skills of Sheridan County Extension Agent Nicole Wardner, decided to try a container/raised garden project for their summer enjoyment.
Training offered county heavy equipment personnel
NDLTAP offered Motor-Grader Operator training for counties in a two-day, two context situations. The first day was classroom training at the Underwood host facility, followed by hands-on field training at individual county sites on the second day.
Commissioners decide fate of county treasurer office
Following a public hearing in late May, the Sheridan County Commissioners decided to listen to the people who spoke out both at the meeting and privately. The county treasurer’s elected position will not be eliminated.
McClusky Legion honors fallen heroes
Although the guest speaker was missing in action (MIA) at McClusky High School, the James Roberts Post and Auxiliary of the American Legion put on a fitting performance to honor America’s fallen heroes.

Goodrich American Legion holds Memorial Day service
Goodrich American Legion and Auxiliary Albert Block Post #56 held its Memorial Day service on Monday, May 25, at the Goodrich School gym. The title for the program was, "Heroes don’t wear capes. They wear dog tags."
Small but crowded with fans
The McClusky High School senior class of 2015 may have been small, but the crowd who came to witness their graduation was not. Two students, Jacob Frank and Chasely Houser, made up the senior class of 2015.
Earlier Monday for Memorial Day
From early traditions of decorating graves with flowers, wreaths and flags, Memorial Day is a day for remembrance of those who have died in our country’s military service.
McClusky High School to graduate two
Two graduates will represent McClusky High School on Sunday, May 25, in the commencement exercises at the McClusky High School gym. Class honor student Chasely Houser graduates with classmate and second graduate Jacob Frank.
Kindergarten class caps concert
The four boys and one girl of this year’s McClusky Elementary School’s kindergarten class sang their version of "We Are the Champions" to cap off what was an already entertaining Spring Concert.
