Baker awarded “Nurse of the Year”

Local medical service provider, Sarah Baker, BS, MSN, FNP, is the 2010 Recipient of the March of Dimes ND Nurse of the Year – Advanced Practice.
Baker received the award during the annual Nurse of the Year awards ceremony hosted on September 25, 2010 at the Ramada Plaza Suites in Fargo. Healthcare professionals from across North Dakota were honored among 20 categories for their outstanding contributions to patient care and the advancement of the nursing profession.
Sarah was joined at the ceremony by her husband, Rev. Ray Baker, McClusky Clinic staff, Missy Axt, Audrey Erdmann and Deborah Parsons.
Her brother Mike Kaspari, his wife Donita and their daughter Camryn also attended.
Over 50 nominees were in attendance. The advanced practice award is given to a nurse who demonstrates excellence in nursing practice among Nurse Practitioners, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists and Nurse Midwives.
