Beef program focuses on local business support

Beef program focuses on local business support

A large percentage of North Dakota residents were introduced to meats fresh from a farm. It they were not local producers of beef, port, mutton or poultry, grandparents
or friends were. I-Band, the Independent Beef Association of North Dakota, has set forth on an active program, donating fresh beef, courtesy of the organization and its members, delivering directly to schools who applied to the North Dakota Beef to School Pilot Program. This is done through a partnership with two ND State departments, the Agriculture
Program and the Department of Public Instruction’s Child Nutrition and Food Distribution.
