Budget hearing short with no public attendance

By ALLAN TINKER
The September 12 budget hearing at 6:45 p.m. was held on time with no one present from the public at that time. The regular monthly meeting had two visitors, Tim Nixon and Jerri Van Sandt. Neither spoke on any issues, attending just as interested citizens. The water project on the north end of town is nearing completion. Some discussion on drainage and wet dirt issues was held. No formal action. The Tand issue was turned over to the city attorney. Tand has resolved issues with Mariner. There was no police report. The water report showed
payment on most accounts, with four accounts scheduled for warning door tags. City Maintenance Jamey Clark reported they will work
on curb stops and replacing a dead line near Clark’s home.
