Commerce provides $18,400 grant to the City of McClusky
The North Dakota Department of Commerce, in conjunction with the Lewis and Clark Regional Development Council, has provided an $18,400 grant to the City of McClusky.
The funds will be used to replace some windows in a multi-family housing project in McClusky.
“Replacing the windows makes the apartments more energy efficient,” Corey Burgum, Community Development Coordinator with Lewis and Clark Regional Development Council said. “The project needed assistance from the Community Development Block Grant program to help pay for the work needed to be done.”
Funds for the project came from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program managed by the North Dakota Department of Commerce. The program provides financial assistance to eligible cities and counties in North Dakota. The eight regional planning councils receive an allocation from the state to fund projects in their region.
