Conflicts resolved on north road issues

The Commissioners Room at the Sheridan County Courthouse filled to seating capacity and beyond during the afternoon of the September commission meeting. Herb Bargman and Mike Rivinius, of Wold Engineering, hired by Sheridan County, were present to check in with the commissioners. County officials and residents along the new road north of town brought their complaints and compliments to the meeting.
John Harmsen and Kevin Stroeing, winning bid contractors of Knife River Materials Company (KR), commuted from Minnesota to attend the meeting. They came ready do a “walk through” of the roadwork, consider concerns, and find solutions to finish the project that had taken most of the summer. It was in their interest to receive the last payment for their work on the project.
