Northland Health Center worked with the ND State Health Dept. for a Community COVID-19 testing event. At McClusky, gathering for the drivethrough testing was on the east side of the Sheridan County Courthouse. First Responders were scheduled for 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. with public testing from 11a.m. until 1 p.m. This event was focused on testing for active in asymptomatic COVID-19 infection. The tests were performed by the McClusky Northland Health Center staff and local public
health. There were 15 first responders and 83 community members tested, a total of 98 tests performed at the May 28 event. The testing was an oral swab. All results for those tested were negative. Participants were given a handout regarding COVID-19 testing and next steps. The handout explained the project was intended to flatten the curve, slow the spread of COVID-19 in North Dakota, and help everyone better understand more about the distribution of the virus.
