Cross replacement information presented at ALA salad luncheon

Fifteen Auxiliary and Junior Auxiliary members met on Wednesday, August 11 for the annual potluck salad luncheon at the Community Center. A patriotic theme was used to note the 100th birthday celebration of the ALA. Following the lunch, ALA President Marcia Dockter opened the meeting. Sophie Sparrow, past president of the Junior ALA, presented her
Turtle Lake-Mercer School Honors project for which she gathered and mailed health care items to the Fargo Veteran’s Hospital. Sophie also told of a junior group project, which was completed over the winter. In this project, ten fleece blankets were made and delivered to the Veterans’ Hospital. Project members included Aubrey Majors, Karleigh Baker, Sophie, Daisy, and Charlie Sparrow.
