Daycare issues consume JDA meeting, plus one

By ALLAN TINKER
It took a long meeting on Monday night, plus a special meeting on Thursday to address all the issues of daycare rates, grace days and additional child rates for the many schedules of the patrons of Little Hearts Daycare services.
On Monday, a group of parents, some with children also attending, presented their issues, support and suggestions to the McClusky Job Development Authority, which over sees the daycare facility. Daycare Manager Debra Rhoads did not attend as she had met with the parents earlier.
Concerns brought forth by parents included having to pay for time their children were not at the facility for various reasons: job conflicts, pre-school hours, changing schedules, or simply deciding not to use the day set aside for them.
