Eight participants fi ll Horse Show event

Sheridan County 4-H Horse Show was held June 22 at the 4-H Arena at Hoffer Lake. There were eight Sheridan County 4-H members who participated in the event. The horse show classes offered included: Showmanship (at halter), Western Horsemanship, Ranch Riding, Western Pleasure, Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, and Keyhole Race. Rachel Wald, McHenry County Extension Agent was the judge for the day. She took time with each individual to help them further their skills for next year. Age divisions were broken down into intermediate: ages 12 to 14, juniors: ages 8 to 11, and Cloverbud, ages 5 to 7. Results for the day are as follows for each participant. Kaycee Crimmins (Cloverbud participation) – Showmanship, Horsemanship, Ranch Riding, Western Pleasure, Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, and Keyhole Race. Kendall Boehm (Cloverbud participation) – Showmanship, Horsemanship, Ranch Riding, Western Pleasure, Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, and Keyhole
Race.
