Estrada fills vacancy on council

Estrada fills vacancy on council

By ALLAN TINKER

Dorothy Estrada, McClusky, filled the empty seat on the council created by the death of DuWayne (Fritz) Hirschkorn. Her first meeting was the October 10 meeting.
The council first heard the relayed police report: little was happening except for a question on vicious dogs and the answer was there was no ordinance against any particular dogs except pit bulls. Other dogs need to be proved a “threat’ by their repeated behavior.
Trent Naser also relayed that he was looking into a “Streamline’ camper issue but it appeared that the camper had left the area.
Building permits were approved for Leroy Bentz and Roger Roth, both of whom wish to erect small metal buildings.
Another late request was approved for Theobald and Becky Stein for construction of a new building on the current site of Ms. Becky’s drive-in. The existing structure will be removed entirely.
