Fabulous and sassy at 100

Proclaimed by her family to be “Fabulous and sassy” at one hundred, Melva Schindler entered her second century of life on March 10th. A well-known supporter of her family, community, and schools, her birthday drew a flood of birthday greetings and a party for everyone at the Sheridan Memorial Home. Daughter Heidi Steichen presented her mother with
a book of memories, created by more than one hundred people who took time to share their memories and photos. The thick volume will provide a durable memory of a life well-lived for generations yet to be.
