Farmers market hold regrouping session for successful season

By ALLAN TINKER
McClusky Farmers Market members met for a re-grouping session at the Union on Wednesday, Nov. 10. President and Vice-president Elisha Dockter and Eden McLeod, respectively, led the group in a question and answer session.
For a first year attempt, the group consensus was that everything had gone quite well.
One area of disappointment was that no one had heard back on the questionnaires that had been sent out to vendors and buyers for their input. The results were sent to a central source and no word had been received back on the results.
Informal input from the vendors included the customer requested need for more and varied vendors, as well as more advertising of the event. Even with the road tent sign, the banner, the notice in the local news displays and the information on cable access, some residents were still unaware of the event, or the time slot.
