Farmers Union holds Sheridan County Convention

The Sheridan County Farmers Union held their annual county convention at the Union on Nov. 7 with approximately 30 members and guests present.
Jay Gahner, Sheridan County FU president, emceed the meeting and introduced guests and speakers.
Denise Brown, Baldwin, presented an overview on her trip to Washington, DC, for the annual Fly-In on Sept 13-15.
She spoke on the details of the visit, including their introduction and talking points briefing, as well as being welcomed by the congressional representatives as they were “not paid lobbyists.” She stated that they were all well-informed and familiar with rural concerns and appeared interested in knowing more about all of the FU visitors.
