Flood of money follows need

Flood of money follows need

With a burst of high and dry-land energy, the McClusky community gathered in support of the flood victims of the Minot area. The victims included a former pastor and his wife, Charles and Susan Taft.
Taft served as Grace Lutheran pastor from 1977 to 1985, as well as serving as an educator in the McClusky School District. He and Sue and their two children, Charles H. and Rachel moved to Minot, where they continued in the ministerial field of work.
Pastor Charles worked 29 years in western North Dakota, 10 of which he served as interim pastor, altogether in 25 congregations, including his permanent pastor positions. Sue, according to her husband, is a semi-professional volunteer with two main interests: libraries and quilting. She delivers books to the homebound and is head of the Bethany quilting group at their church in Minot.
