Food bank distributes four tons-plus of food

The hours are stable, the days are regular; the need is constant.
The Food Bank at Sheridan Courthouse is open the first Tuesday and the third Thursday of every month. The times are Tuesdays, 9 a.m.-12 noon; and Thursdays, 1-4 p.m.
The clients helped are numerous. Food Bank manager Sheila Majors provided a list and numbers of the needs served in Sheridan County.
In 2019, 23 children, 148 adults, 117 seniors and 157 households received food bank assistance. The total weight of food distributed was 8,823 pounds.
