Full house for appreciation supper

Full house for appreciation supper

By ALLAN TINKER

The annual McClusky Sportsman’s Club show of appreciation for landowners allowing hunting on private property was held at the McClusky Community Center at city hall on January 13. A free supper was served to everyone who attended: young and old, hunter and landowner.
The attendance filled five tables that, when full, allowed for 22 chairs around each one. An official door count was not taken but an estimate of 100 people, including those moving around and tending to club business, was given by one of the door officials.
Registration at the door for door prizes (table decorations) and ticket sales for the 50-50 raffle drawing were the main actions in the outside hall.
