Good day for buying trees

The tree buyers showed up early, cars were waiting by 9 a.m., said SCSCD Manager Darci Gahner. With a big display board showing what was available, people were quick to get what they wanted. More than 40 buyers came to purchase the area-hardy trees available from the local office between 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on June 5. The tree shed north of the R and
H Motel, along the Farm to Market road, has been the site for the annual tree sale for many years.
