Goodrich final meeting on reorganization

By ALLAN TINKER
With school staff and administration on hand on October 13, three visitors, a review of the plan was presented in clarity for any possible
lack of information for expected residents voting preparation. Negative attitudes appear to be few or none with no reports on issues that needed particular attention. The continuing school structure under the McClusky Goodrich School District reorganized board will have the final burden of adjustment, which as been well prepared by the two schools. One concern is what happens if the measure fails is the taxpayer dollars that go with children in school. Those dollars are set in state regulations to support the schools that would educate the child
or children. With passage of the bill, essentially the tax dollars remain in the county for education expenses, with an exception for open enrollment cases.
