Gunsmoke revival and music provide spring concert fun

Gunsmoke revival and music provide spring concert fun

Under the direction of Susan O’Neil, the McClusky fifth and sixth grade classes presented a “Gunsmoke” style comedy/musical concert theatre at the end of the school year. The
May 17 presentation drew a large audience for the original script from O’Neil and the two participating grades.
The six-scene play and performances, avoided using a weapon on school grounds, instead substituting and very realistic “bang” that highlighted the demise of the victim Mr. Wiffle, played by Brayden Lauer. Trevor Haux, known as Tyrell Reese, shot Wiffle because when Reese was in Wiffle’s store, he squeezed Charmin Wiffle played by Lindsey Abrahamson. Mr. Wiffle saw this and threw toilet paper at Reese and banned him from the store.
