Harvester reopens with new owners
The Harvester Restaurant in Goodrich will reopen the weekend of July 2 under new ownership. The restaurant owner leases space from Tim Frantz.
Owner Brian Fitz, along with fiancé Andrea Deseth, will manage the restaurant, which is planned to be open on a restricted schedule for following weekends after the opening weekend on for Friday, Saturday and Sunday dining service.
Currently, the plan is to be open from 4 to 10 p.m. on Friday, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday.
On Sunday, a combination breakfast and lunch menu, a brunch, will be served. They will offer both standard breakfast items and a variety of lunch choices each Sunday.
The client-friendly menu includes many local favorites, hamburger baskets, chicken burger, “Gorilla Burger” with ham, bacon, egg, cheese and hamburger; “The General Lee” with two patties, cheese, onion rings and barbecue sauce on a Hoagie; chili cheese dog and bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwiches, among others. Baskets include French fries, macaroni or potato salad.
