Hayride happens

By ALLAN TINKER
The delayed hayride arrived under threat of rain on Friday, November 5. With excellent guidance from staff, teachers and volunteers, the elementary students made quick work along Main Street, stopping at the bank, the U.S. Post Office and Bear Country, and businesses along Main McClusky Rexall Drug, Main Street Salon, McClusky Gazette, NODAK Insurance, Holen’s Super Valu, and Mechanic’s Plus. Rain was starting to fall by the time the group reached north Highway 200 businesses, but the Flyway, Bentz Supply, and the Co-op Elevator businesses also made the “treat” hit list. The Sheridan County Sheriff’s Department provided guidance and overall coordination of the event.
