Learning about robots at Family STEM Night

Learning about robots at Family STEM Night

The McClusky Public Schools held Family STEM Night Thursday evening at the high school gym. Approximately 50 students and children, along with their parents, attended this event.
Mr. Lauer showed the students Ozobots. Students drew black lines on pieces of paper for Ozobots to follow. Other colors, blue, red and green, were added for going backward, around in circle, skip, and other directions.
Mrs. Terwilliger and Mrs. Hinson had a “Makey Makey” booth. Students took USB cable plugs in Makey Makey that fit big side plugs in the computer. There were a few options to put in the metal part to make it work: a Play-Doh, banana, foil or can held onto the metal part. It could play some Makey Makey drums other instruments and games.
