Local business owner honored

By ALLAN TINKER
With a McClusky Rural Fire District escort to the church, Jeffrey Martwick was brought back to the community he loved and served so well. Attendance at the filled-tocapacity
church included family friends and members of the entities in which he served, did business, volunteered, trained, and kept the “fire going.”  The long line of vehicles, led by the volunteer groups which he led and belonged to over the many years, followed him to his final resting place. Reverend Matthew Thompson spoke the final words for his interment. At the closing of the church service, a call went out to “Jeffrey Martwick” from the fire department and ambulance services he knew so well. After three repeat calls, the dispatcher told the listeners he was no responding. There were few without tears during this time.
