McClusky Concert celebrates fun!

“Build Me Up Buttercup” and “Sh-Boom” crossed generation lines on Tuesday, Oct. 16th for the McClusky High School Concert performances. The concert, under the direction of Amber Hoffman, featured the Junior High, Combined, and High School choirs, as well as the concert band.
Junior High sang “May you Always Have a Song,” along with their rendition of   “Sh-Boom.”
The Combined Choir performed “Accidentally in Love;” and the High School Choir presented “The River Sleeps Beneath the Sky,” as well as “Build Me Up Buttercup.” “Eaglerock,”“Greenwillow,” “China Grove,” and “Spirit of American” concluded the concert with spirit and rhythm.
In a surprise move, aided by “certain staff members,” Hoffman joined performers and audience in a birthday song and applause for Principal Dan Klemisch’s 50th birthday, which had been technically the prior week.
