McClusky FFA attends State Convention

On Monday, June 6, the McClusky FFA Chapter left for a five-day trip to the North Dakota State FFA Convention, held on the NDSU Campus in Fargo from June 6-10. The 14 members who attended were part of over 1,200 other FFA members that competed throughout the week.

Members competed in different contests, including Horse Evaluation, Food Science and Technology, Courtesy Corps, Floriculture, Milk Quality and Products, Creed Speaking, Meats Evaluation and Technology, Small Animal Care, and Advanced, Intermediate and Basic Agricultural Mechanics.

Teams were: Horse Evaluation: Carson Houser, Alex Naser and Michael Wolt; Food Science and Technology: Alex Naser, Lucas Rath, Jewel Faul, Jacob Strobel and Morgan Grade; Courtesy Corps: Morgan Grade, Kaley Sease and Michael Wolt; Floriculture: Morgan Grade, Shelby Faul, Jewel Faul, Kaley Sease and Baleigh Ripplinger; Milk Quality and Products: Levi Larson, Lance Pellman, Kody Faul, Shelby Faul and Baleigh Ripplinger; Creed Speaking: Carson Houser; Meats Evaluation and Technology: Jacob Strobel, Michael Wolt and Kassidee Logsdon; Small Animal Care: Alex Naser, Shelby Faul and Kassidee Logsdon; Advanced Ag Mechanics: Kody Faul, Levi Larson, Lance Pellman and Lucas Rath; Intermediate Ag Mechanics: Jacob Strobel; Basic Ag Mechanics: Carson Houser.
