McClusky FFA prepares for State CDE’s

Due to weather, three FFA contests were canceled this judging season: Little International (February 8), Kindred (February 9) and Carrington (March 9).
FFA State, the last CDE judging event, was Monday, March 18. The McClusky FFA Chapter studied hard and prepared for the last contest of the season.
Results from the Turtle Lake Mercer Contest were: Ag Sales participants, Michael Wolt placed 76 out of 87, Maria Steichen, silver, 12 out of 87; Kassidee Logsdon, bronze, 24 out of 87, and Megan Jerkovich, 48 out of 87. The team took 12th place.
Senior High Agronomy team: Jon Strobel, gold, 15 out of 130; Jacob Strobel, high individual, 1 out of 130; Baleigh Ripplinger, silver, 17 out of 130, and Nick Richter, 101 out of 130. The team took third.
