McClusky High School presents Christmas concert

McClusky High School presents Christmas concert
The McClusky High School music department, under the direction of Robin Erdmann, held their Christmas concert on Wednesday evening, Dec. 22, at the high school gym.
The concert band played four selections: “Winter Fantasy,” “Jesus En Pesebre;” “An Angelic Christmas;” and “A Crazy Mixed Up Christmas Concert.”
There was a variety of solos and small ensembles including a brass ensemble. They presented “Up on the Housetop;” Katie Erdmann “Oh Come, Oh Come Emmanuel;” saxophone ensemble, “The First Noel;” Kaytlin Werth, “Oh Holy Night;” clarinet ensemble, “Lo, How A Rose;” Summer Dieterle, “Silver and Gold;” Angela Frank, “Noel, Noel;” and Brittany Lasher, “Where Are You Christmas?”
The Seventh and Eighth Grade Choir sang one selection: “Pablo the Reindeer.” The Concert Choir sang two selections: “The Gift of the Season” and “Happy Christmas, War Is Over.” Sheila Faul was accompanist for the choirs.
The Concert Band members are Cambree Holen, Chasely Houser, flutes; Summer Dieterle, Katie Erdmann, Kimberly Tkach Katylin Werth, clarinets; Arika Werth, bass clarinet; Shylee Boone, Jewel Faul, Jacy Hausauer, Levi Larson, Brittany Thomas, alto saxophones; Shayna Crimmins, baritone sax, Kody Faul, Taylor Gahner, Brittany Lasher, Lance Pellman, trumpets; Trista Crimmins, French horn; Sarah Bowers, trombone; Kady Rath, tuba; Cody Crimmins, Angela Frank, Derek Mortenson, Alex Ripplinger, percussion.
