McClusky Lions replace old signage

McClusky Lions replace old signage

By ALLAN TINKER
After many years of attempted repair of wood signs and unsightly weathering and deterioration, the McClusky Lions replaced the two signs on either side of the city limits. The “welcome” signs to McClusky are now fresh and bright, made of metal that is durable and weather-resistant.
Already the new signs have drawn positive compliments for the Lions and the city, with a formal recognition of the Lions’ effort at their anniversary meeting on July 1. Those who donated to the signs, either in location permission or in other contributions, will be invited to the meeting as guests for a formal thank you and recognition.
“The Lions are pleased that the effort has resulted in the appreciation and support of the city’s residents and our own club members, as well as those who donated for the project,” said this year’s Lions President Brian Tinker and Secretary/Treasurer Jeff Martwick.
