McClusky Mid-Summer Fest heats up

It is the “big weekend” of festivities in McClusky and it leads off in midweek on Wed., July 13, with the Sheridan County 4-H Horse Show at 10 a.m. The event will follow with an Open State Qualifying Horse Show with Horsemanship, Western Pleasure and Riding, Halter, Pole and Barrels at 1 p.m. Don’t miss this unique addition to the summer fun!
On Thursday, July 14, starting at 1 p.m., the Sheridan County Achievement Days Static Exhi-bits will be held, as well as the 2-5 p.m. Sheridan County Family Consumer Economics Cultural Arts Fair with Swedish weaving and Dutch Oven cooking.
At 5 p.m., the 4-H raffle starts and, at 5:30 p.m., the baked bean contest followed by the 6 p.m. free community supper. At 7:30 p.m. the 4-H Raffle drawing will be held.
All of these events are to be held at the 4-H building at Hoffer Lake north of McClusky. For further information contact Extension Agent Emily Kline at 363-2242 for information on all county extension and 4-H events.
On Friday, July 15, at 6:30 p.m., a co-ed softball game will be held. For information please contact Jim Crimmins at 363-2687. Concessions are coordinated by Elisha Dockter with proceeds to the kiddie pool portion of the Kathy Davis Memorial Pool.
