Midsummer Fest moves to third weekend in July

According to Midsummer Fest Chair Tracy Stein, the weekend will start off with a co-ed softball game on Friday evening. Everyone is invited to play. Jim Crimmins is the person to get in touch with for information on this event: call 363-2687. Fest guests will have a chance to enjoy the band Thunder Road on Saturday evening and, once again, the Sportsmen’s club will be making a delicious supper. The committee is still making arrangements as to where this will take place. Stein adds "It is also time for everyone to get in shape for the bed races. We had a great turn out for them last year and hope for even better this year. We are always looking for old mattresses and metal beds if anyone has them to get rid of.
