Move north lands Northland new CEO

Move north lands Northland new CEO
By ALLAN TINKER
A decision to move north from their home and work in Texas resulted in Northland Community Health Center land-ing Patrick Butler as their new chief executive officer.
Butler described how he and Kathrine’s mutual decision to move north and his job search online was how they came to their new small town home and work. A self-described family guy, he likes the atmosphere of family in both home and the community in which he works. Turtle Lake filled the bill.
Born and early-years-raised in Texas City, TX, he lived most of his young life in La Marque, TX where he graduated from high school. He later moved to another city in the state, Alvin, and now to Turtle Lake.
A local community college, College of the Mainland, is where he completed his general coursework, then received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Houston at Clear Lake. He is currently working on his MBA through UH, combining both online and class room courses.
A son of Lee and Katherine Butler, he was the baby of the family, with five older girls and his eldest sibling also a boy. His father worked at an oil refinery and mom stayed at home with their larger family.
