Northland serves breakfast in two locales
Early risers were rewarded in both McClusky, on Thursday, and Turtle Lake, on Friday, with a free hot breakfast served by the Northland Community Health Center staff and board members.
The “real” food breakfast, was enjoyed by about 80 people in McClusky and 65 in Turtle Lake. In both events, the meal was served in the respective city’s City Hall building. The other two cities in the four-armed Health Center, Rolla and Rolette, also were served breakfast in those communities.
The Center, with the vision of providing choice, and improving the health of the people they serve, is committed to providing access to affordable and quality health services in each of these communities.
Among the services that the Center provides are physician and health care providers that give routine medical check-ups for prevention of illness and life-threatening conditions, pre-scription drug programs, a sliding fee scale, and mental and dental health programs as well as outreach programs within the communities on various topics.
Outreach programs have been presented in one or more of the cities served on women’s and men’s wellness and screenings, smoking cessation, mental health screenings, dental care, substance abuse, immunizations and health education for all ages.
The Center offers accessibility, affordability, continuous and comprehensive care, with a family centered, coordinated and compassionate staff and methodology.
