Pool repairs running on volunteer power

By Allan Tinker

McClusky Park Board president Tracy Stein has welcomed many volunteers to help reduce costs for keeping the popular pool open another
year. One piece of luck was the availability of applicants able to take and pass the training and testing to become certified lifeguards. In
other nearby towns, pools are still hunting for enough staff to maintain their pool hours for the summer. Stein has been busy writing and searching for grants suitable for the work needed to be done. Donations have helped fund the training with Rhoads Home Improvement
adding many hours to the concrete repair and painting needs.
