Sheridan County and surrounding area residents: tens, couples, singles and families, gathered to have their annual outdoor picnic supper at the Goodrich Park, meal compliments of Choice Financial Services of Goodrich. The bank staff served.
Cotton Wood played for Ducks Unlimited free community appreciation supper, entertaining with top-quality bluegrass music.
Fire stole into McClusky in the middle of the night (Wednesday, Aug. 4, early a.m.) and took the legs, distribution, cleaning, and scale of the McClusky Co-op Elevator’s grain storage and transfer section, the heart of most small town elevators.
Jerry Bennett, well-known Gospel music performer and composer, recently performing in Goodrich in June, will treat McClusky residents to a concert on Sunday, Aug. 15, at 7 p.m.
United Methodist Church in McClusky has a new pastor, Warren Rhodes.
Jerold Elton Tufte is the only candidate on the bal-lot for the primary election this year and will likely become the new state’s attorney for Sheridan County when the election is held.
